TEU Domestic successfully managed a complex project involving the transportation of excessively heavy and over-dimensional conveyor rubber belts. The cargo was picked up from LBCT, transloaded in an LA warehouse, and moved via a heavy RGN trailer with special tarping. The journey to Utah, spanning nearly 700 miles, required a state permit from the Department of Transportation (DOT).

 

The scope of work included transportation, loading, lashing, and transloading the break bulk cargo due to its height, ensuring it was securely loaded into the RGN trailer for safe delivery to its destination. One of the significant challenges was the limited availability of carriers equipped with the necessary heavy hydraulic RGN trailers to handle such a job.
