Sarjak Container Line’s Parent Co. Saksham Group Acquires "SCL Mercury", a Multipurpose Dry Cargo vessel

Sarjak Container Lines, headquartered at Mumbai, India and a wholly owned subsidiary of a logistics conglomerate, Saksham Group, recently acquired SCL Mercury, a multipurpose dry cargo vessel with a total TEU capacity of 516 and a deadweight of 8034 Tons.

The vessel completed its maiden voyage from Jebel Ali to Khor Al Zubair and is now performing its 2nd voyage from Kuwait to Male, Maldives.

With this, the Group forays into ship-owning and is confident of unlocking value for its customers by providing a heavy lift vessel for the carriage of heavy equipment and cargoes by break-bulk, all under one roof.

The vessel is currently trading in the Persian Gulf / India West Coast / Indian Ocean Region, and the team looks forward to receiving enquiries from its fellow members.
