• 23/08: Musina / Beit bridge has been heavily affected by protest action, the Taxi association that is striking on the N1, has blocked all access to and from Musina, majority of stake holders and role players (including SARS customs) have not been able to get to Border offices.
• 24/08: Planned South Africa Union Shutdown strike
• Strikers are at times violent and drivers who do not join the strike action are intimidated with physical violence. Authorities (Police) are monitoring the situation but are unable to actively intervene.
• This is a force majeure event which may delay loads in transit with resultant costs being incurred by your cargo. If you have cargo active in this area, please update your customer to possible disruption or added costs
